You do not need to memorize the whole Tut alphabet before you can begin. Start with three common consonant forms and train your brain to recognize the pattern.
Start with B, D, and T
- B = bub
- D = dud
- T = tut
Say each form slowly. Then look only at the Tut form and try to recover the original letter. That simple reversal is the beginning of decoding.
A Two-Minute Drill
Read these aloud: bub — dud — tut — dud — bub — tut. Now write the English letters underneath them without looking back at the list.
Once those feel easy, add three more letters instead of trying to memorize all 26 at once. Small sets make recognition faster and reduce frustration.
